FBI Looking for Yellowstone Pics in Search of Missing Idaho Kids

The Need

My niece, Tylee Ryan, and her little half brother, JJ Vallow, have been missing since September, 2019. (Learn more from the FBI’s press release, the “Where Are the Children” Dateline episode and my [ridiculously comprehensive] timeline.)

17-year-old Tylee has not been seen since Sep 8, 2019. She was last seen in Yellowstone National Park—having entered near Rexburg, ID —with her mother, Lori Vallow Daybell, and her Uncle Alex Cox (pictured above). She is 5’0 and 160 lbs with blonde hair and blue eyes. Investigators are considering searching inside Yellowstone National Park when the snow melts. Hence the request for pics!

7-year-old JJ was last seen Sep 23rd in Rexburg, ID. He is 4’0 and 50 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He was seen on Ring footage and in school after the Yellowstone trip up until Sep 24th, when he, too, went missing.

If you were in Yellowstone National Park on Sep 8, 2019, the FBI is asking that you look through your pics and videos for pictures of this family or Cox’s 2017 silver Ford F-150 pickup, with Arizona license plate CPQUINT (pictured below). The pics at the top of the post were taken that day at the park.

How To Report

If you find any pics of the family or truck, please submit them to the FBI. Each image file needs to be smaller than 1024mb. If your image is larger, you can use any image-editing tool to reduce your image size, or use an online tool like resizeimages.com. Alternatively, you can call the number on the page. Just keep in mind it IS 2020. (I kid! Sorta. But not really all that much.) You are limited to uploading four files, so please review them before sending them in.

The FBI has also asked to continue reporting tips in this case to the Rexburg Police Department at (208) 359-3000 or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE-LOST).
